Ingredients
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Additional granulated sugar, for rolling
24 Milk Chocolate Blossoms
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture. Mix until well combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
5. Scoop out 1-inch balls of dough and roll them in the additional granulated sugar to coat. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The cookies will still be soft in the center.
7. Allow your cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 3-5 minutes, then gently press a Chocolate Blossoms into the center of each cookie. The edges may crack slightly, which is normal.
